About the Role
We are seeking a talented and high-energy Videographer to join our creative team in Opelika, AL. This role focuses specifically on producing premium content for world-class automotive performance brands specializing in German engineering (specifically Audi, VW, and BMW tuning sectors).
You will be responsible for capturing the soul of high-performance vehicles through dynamic shop footage, studio shoots, and technical installs. This is a 90-day contract with a strong path toward a permanent, full-time position for the right candidate.
The Day-to-Day
- Production: Shoot high-quality video content featuring a rotating fleet of performance vehicles and aftermarket components.
- Studio & Field Work: Utilize our onsite professional studio and shop environment to capture everything from cinematic car features to technical product spotlights.
- Specialized Gear: Operate professional-grade equipment including gimbals, GoPro vehicle rigging, and camera arms to capture high-speed and technical shots.
- Brand Focused: Create content that resonates with the European automotive enthusiast community, specifically focusing on brands like APR and Dinan.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Automotive Passion: A deep understanding of car culture and the "visual language" of the automotive industry. Familiarity with German performance brands is a significant plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in operating gimbals, action cameras (GoPros), and specialized vehicle mounting equipment.
- Autonomy: Ability to manage a project from concept to capture, ensuring the brand’s voice is consistent across all platforms.
- Versatility: Comfortable switching between a controlled studio environment and a fast-paced shop/track setting.
Requirements
- Must be able to work full-time hours for the duration of the 90-day contract.
- Ability to work onsite in Opelika, AL at least 3 days per week (Onsite is highly preferred due to the nature of the equipment and vehicle rotation).
- A portfolio or reel demonstrating previous automotive videography work is required.
