And due to growth, they are looking to bring on a Vice President of Operations to lead and run the organization. This person will be crucial in the overall growth and success of this firm.

This person will be responsible for leading and overseeing all construction operations as well as provide strategic leadership to project management, field operations, preconstruction, scheduling, safety, and help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all project management and field operations teams.
• Drive project execution, profitability, scheduling, safety, and quality initiatives.
• Develop and implement operational processes that improve efficiency and scalability.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, and Operations staff.
• Partner with preconstruction and business development teams to support project pursuits and client relationships.
• Monitor financial performance, project risk, and resource allocation across the portfolio.
• Ensure exceptional client service and successful project delivery.
• Support strategic planning and company growth initiatives.

Ideal Background

• 15+ years of commercial construction experience with a reputable general contractor.
• Proven leadership experience managing multiple Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Strong background in ground-up commercial construction, interiors, and/or multifamily projects.
• Demonstrated success overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Experience building teams, improving operational systems, and driving profitable growth.
