Trusts and Estates Legal Assistant

CBIZ Talent Solutions is partnering with a California law firm with multiple offices in the search for a Trusts and Estates Legal Assistant for their Downtown Los Angeles, California office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of trusts and estates experience from a mid-size to large law firm. This is a hybrid position that offers one remote day per week once trained. This position will involve client facing interaction and requires a high degree of confidentiality.


Duties


Helping to prepare different estate planning documents

Proofreading and editing documents

Preparing tax payments for different trust accounts

Preparing binders and deeds

Managing client communication

Scheduling meetings

Other duties as assigned


Requirements


5+years of Trusts and Estates experience from a law firm (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE)

Strong organizational and calendaring skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Familiarity with iManage or similar document management system preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Associates Degree (or higher) preferred

Court filing experience is a plus


The salary range for this position is $80,000-$105,000 DOE.

This compensation range is specific to certain locations and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.


MUST BE ABLE TO PHYSICALLY WORK IN OFFICE IN DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES 4 DAYS PER WEEK ONCE TRAINED.
