What You’ll Do:
Lead and support drivers, floaters, and lead employees
Assign daily duties and ensure timely route starts and pre/post‑trip completion
Monitor route performance, weight slips, and route sheets to drive efficiency
Identify improvement opportunities and conduct route observations
Resolve customer concerns when needed
Manage employee requests (vacation, PTO) and assist with scheduling
Oversee accurate deliveries and exchanges
Coach, mentor, and develop team members
Address employee relations issues and document corrective actions
Conduct safety meetings, facility inspections, and ensure OSHA/DOT compliance
Investigate and report work‑related injuries, accidents, and incidents
Train new drivers/helpers on equipment, safety, and company programs
Respond promptly to incident alerts and action‑item emails
What You Bring:
5+ years of supervisory experience in the transportation industry
Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and related regulations
Proven customer service and communication skills
Ability to lead, coach, and build a strong team environment
Experience managing drivers preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Valid California Driver’s License with clean driving record
