This role would suit a Test Design Engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment and is looking to take ownership of complex semiconductor test systems within a growing and ambitious company.
The Role:
*Lead design of semiconductor test hardware including PCB design, circuit design, and FPGA integration
*Develop test programs, vectors, and automated test solutions across multiple platforms
*Debug complex multi-layer PCBs, identifying issues such as signal integrity, impedance mismatches, and component failures
*Perform detailed electrical measurements using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDR, LCR meters)
*Drive root-cause analysis, failure investigations, and corrective actions in production environments
*Support technicians with rework, testing, and debug processes while setting best practices
*Contribute to yield improvement, failure analysis, and continuous process improvements
The Candidate:
*Strong background in electrical engineering with experience in analog, digital, or mixed-signal design
*Hands-on experience with PCB design, troubleshooting, and complex electronic systems
*Experience with lab equipment and test/debug methodologies
*Knowledge of high-speed or RF concepts (signal integrity, crosstalk, impedance control)
*Experience with LabVIEW or similar test software
*Background in semiconductor test, ATE, or advanced electronics manufacturing (preferred)
