Test Engineer

Our client, a leader in aerospace & defense, is looking to hire an Electrical Test Engineer. This role is fully onsite in Melbourne, FL.

*This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits!*

As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will troubleshoot, test, debug hardware and software, supporting the development of manufacturing and service test solutions, including thermal and vibration test equipment as well as software suites for environmental stress and screening requirements. The team is looking for someone eager to growth their problem-solving skills and drive the innovation of cutting-edge solutions!

What You'll Be Doing

• Utilize multi-rack test stations to test, debug, and develop hardware and software solutions
• Document, review, and verify and even reverse engineer automated test procedures that will drive software changes required to support operations
• Collaborate directly with mechanical and system engineers, ensuring electrical design is appropriate for the product design & approach
• Present project insights to peers, internal management, and aviation customers

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering with a Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or related discipline or 8+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering in lieu of a degree
• Working knowledge of LabVIEW and/or C#
• Experience using digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and power supplies in a product research and/or development environment
• Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) devices and/or avionics products

Desired Skills & Experience

• Prior experience or interest in the aerospace, automotive, defense, or aviation industries highly valued!
