A respected Jacksonville law office is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Legal Assistant for an 8-week temporary assignment. This is a great opportunity to step into a collaborative legal environment with hands-on training and immediate impact.


Position Highlights:

  • Start ASAP to allow for approximately 4 weeks of training with the current assistant
  • Support a busy associate attorney and assist with general office operations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls
  • Work closely with the office manager and team on administrative tasks


Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical and administrative support for attorneys
  • Scan, copy, fax, and organize case documentation
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail for the office
  • Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and coordinate appointments
  • Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner
  • Assist with general office coordination and team support as needed



Compensation:

  • $20-25/per hour

Ideal Background:

  • Prior administrative or legal assistant experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to multitask
