We're a fast-growing recruiting firm helping early-stage startups hire the talent that defines their company. We work directly with founders and CEOs, running a sourcing-first process built for the pace and stakes of early-stage hiring. We're looking for someone with 1-3 years of recruiting, sourcing, or coordination experience under their belt who's ready to take on more ownership and grow with us.
You'll get the training, tools, and mentorship to keep developing fast. You'll also need to be self-directed, resourceful, and willing to figure things out when the playbook doesn't have an answer yet.
Job Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end sourcing pipelines across 2-4 startup clients, partnering directly with founders and hiring managers to translate hiring needs into search strategies
- Run sourcing across technical and non-technical roles (engineering, product, GTM, design, ops) using our internal toolkit and proprietary process
- Conduct phone screens with technical and non-technical candidates, write up clear and useful notes, and make sharp recommendations on who moves forward
- Drive cold outreach across email, LinkedIn, phone, and text, including thoughtful follow-up sequences for candidates who go quiet
- Manage candidate experience from first outreach through offer, keeping people informed, engaged, and well-treated at every stage
- Partner with and help guide more junior sourcers on your accounts, reviewing their work and helping them level up
- Track pipeline activity, report progress to clients, and flag risks early
- Contribute to refining our process, templates, and tooling as we grow
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in tech recruiting, technical sourcing, recruiting coordination, or a closely adjacent role
- Comfort sourcing for technical roles and a working understanding of engineering levels, common tech stacks, and how startups think about hiring
- Strong written and verbal communication, especially in cold outreach and candidate conversations
- Familiarity with modern recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Juicebox, ATS platforms, etc.) and the ability to pick up new ones quickly
- Self-directed, organized, and able to juggle multiple searches without dropping the ball
- A genuine interest in startups and the people who build them
Nice to Have
- Prior agency or in-house startup recruiting experience
- Experience working directly with founders or executive stakeholders
- A track record of placements or pipelines you can speak to
Location: Onsite in San Jose, CA, 4 days a week.
