Technical Project Manager

Company Description Intrinsic Technology Group is a New York City–founded, women- and minority-owned Managed Service Provider, established in 2006.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Project Manager role based in New York, NY. The Technical Project Manager will oversee end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including scoping, planning, resource allocation, execution, risk management, and post-implementation review.

Oversee and manage multiple IT projects from initiation to completion.

Utilize ConnectWise Project Board to track project progress, manage resources, and ensure timely delivery.

Coordinate with various teams to ensure project milestones are met.

Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans.

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide regular updates on project status.

Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.

Conduct meetings with current clients and identify and resolve any gaps.

Ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Strong Project Management skills, including planning, prioritization, scheduling, and risk management.
• Program Management capabilities to coordinate multiple related initiatives and align them with organizational goals.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure, security, or managed services projects is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with common MSP frameworks or tools (e.g., Connectwise, IT Glue or similar).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification) is a plus.
