About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Account Manager with strong data center experience to drive revenue growth, expand strategic accounts, and support solution development for next-generation, high-density and AI-driven environments. This role blends consultative sales with technical expertise, enabling you to lead client engagements while shaping infrastructure solutions. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will translate customer needs into scalable offerings and deliver compelling proposals that support GPU-driven demand and evolving data center architectures.


This role is onsite at our Manassas, VA office.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own revenue growth and expansion across a portfolio of strategic data center accounts
  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within new and existing clients and target accounts
  • Serve as the primary client-facing contact, building strong relationships with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Lead customer discussions to uncover needs, define requirements, and position tailored solutions
  • Translate customer requirements into data center infrastructure solutions, including mechanical and electrical distribution systems
  • Develop and deliver Statements of Work (SOW), Bills of Materials (BOM), and pricing proposals aligned to client objectives
  • Support high-density and GPU-driven deployments, ensuring solutions meet performance and scalability demands
  • Provide consultative guidance on liquid cooling approaches, including liquid-to-suite strategies and TCS loop integration within the white space
  • Partner with internal engineering and delivery teams to develop competitive solutions and accelerate the sales cycle
  • Deliver impactful presentations, proposals, and solution reviews that clearly articulate technical and business value
  • Lead negotiations, manage pipeline progression, and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, account plans, and CRM records
  • Monitor market trends and customer demand, including GPU growth and cooling innovations, to inform sales strategy


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience) required
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, technical sales, or solutions engineering within the data center or IT infrastructure industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets in a B2B environment
  • Strong understanding of data center mechanical and electrical distribution systems
  • Experience supporting high-density compute or GPU-based environments preferred
  • Familiarity with liquid cooling technologies and thermal containment systems (TCS) is highly desirable
  • Ability to balance technical depth with a consultative, sales-driven approach
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience transitioning from Sales Engineering into a revenue-carrying account management role
  • Background working with colocation providers, hyperscalers, or data center operators
  • Familiarity with full data center lifecycle, from design through deployment
  • Understanding of AI infrastructure trends, GPU scaling, and next-generation cooling solutions
