What You'll Be Doing
International & Domestic Tax Compliance
- Manage and review U.S. international tax calculations, including areas such as GILTI, FDII, Foreign Tax Credits, Earnings & Profits, and Subpart F
- Support preparation and review of federal income tax returns, tax basis schedules, and complex book-to-tax adjustments
- Assist with tax reporting related to cross-border transactions, restructurings, and repatriation activities
Tax Planning & Business Advisory
- Partner with business leaders to identify tax-efficient solutions that support operational and financial objectives
- Research and analyze complex tax matters, providing practical recommendations to stakeholders
- Support planning initiatives that drive value while maintaining compliance
Tax Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Play a key role in the quarterly tax provision process under ASC 740
- Prepare and review tax-related disclosures and supporting schedules for SEC reporting
- Assist with forecasting effective tax rates and analyzing the tax impact of significant business transactions
- Support SOX compliance and maintain strong tax controls
Strategic Projects
- Provide tax support for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring initiatives
- Partner with Finance, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, and international teams on strategic projects
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance reporting, and increase efficiency across the tax function
Audit & Compliance Support
- Assist with federal, state, and international tax examinations
- Coordinate with external auditors and advisors on tax-related matters
- Help resolve technical tax issues and support regulatory compliance efforts
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5-10 years of tax experience in public accounting, corporate tax, or a combination of both
- Strong technical tax knowledge and analytical capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business applications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, JD, LL.M., or Master's in Taxation
- Big Four public accounting experience
- Experience with multinational tax compliance and reporting
- Exposure to ASC 740 and public company reporting requirements
- Experience with OneSource or similar tax software platforms
