We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager, International Tax to support and enhance the company’s global tax function. This role will lead key aspects of U.S. international tax compliance and reporting while partnering closely with finance, legal, treasury, accounting, and business leadership on global tax planning, operational initiatives, and cross-border transactions.
The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation in U.S. international tax and ASC 740, combined with the ability to navigate a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This individual will play a key role in driving process improvements, supporting business growth initiatives, and helping the organization manage its global effective tax rate and international tax positions efficiently and proactively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of the international components of the U.S. federal income tax return, including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8991, 8992, 8993, and related international reporting requirements
- Oversee and review key U.S. international tax calculations and analyses, including GILTI, Subpart F, BEAT, FDII, foreign tax credits, E&P, expense allocations, and other international tax attributes
- Support the quarterly and annual global income tax provision process under ASC 740, including analysis of foreign inclusions, effective tax rate impacts, and related tax accounting matters
- Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to evaluate the tax implications of global operations, transactions, restructurings, and strategic initiatives
- Support international tax planning initiatives, including acquisition integration, legal entity restructuring, repatriation planning, intercompany transactions, and transfer pricing matters
- Collaborate with finance teams and foreign affiliates to address local country tax matters, audits, tax examinations, and reporting requirements
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, enhance controls, leverage automation, and increase efficiency across the international tax function
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; MST and/or CPA preferred
- 6+ years of progressive experience in U.S. international taxation within a large public accounting firm and/or multinational corporate environment
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. international tax rules, including GILTI, Subpart F, BEAT, FDII, foreign tax credits, transfer pricing concepts, and related TCJA provisions
- Experience with ASC 740 and global income tax provision processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across functions and global teams
- Experience identifying process improvements and leveraging technology to enhance tax operations and reporting efficiency
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex tax matters into practical business considerations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and tax/accounting software platforms such as OneSource, CorpTax, or similar tools
