Our firm has a great relationship with this organization and have successfully placed multiple individuals who are still with the firm! Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for the oversight of financial statement preparation, and will support multiple entities within the organization.

Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly financial close including P&L, Balance Sheet, and supporting schedules across multiple entities; prepare variance analysis and report findings to leadership
- Review and approve general ledger entries, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and daily transactional postings throughout the month and at quarter/year-end
- Manage fixed asset schedules (depreciation, additions, transfers, disposals) and reconcile invoices and AR/AP balances across systems on an ongoing basis
- Supervise and develop a Staff Accountant across AP, AR, fixed assets, month-end close, and GL functions; assist with audits, tax requests, and ad hoc financial analyses
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; CPA a plus
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, prior supervisory experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; QuickBooks experience highly preferred
- Solid analytical and reconciliation skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners
