Tax Accountant

Company in SW Houston is searching for an Accounting professional that has a current CPA license and can handle indirect tax compliance and filings, treasury management and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Sales & Use Tax returns
• Franchise Tax filings
• Property Tax filings
• Federal Income Tax filings including Form 1120, K-1s and Form 5471
• Cash Managment
• Treasury Controls
• Banking Relationships
• Financial Statements
• Variance Analysis
• Support Month-End Close Activities

Qualifications:

• Degree in a Accounting or Finance, CP A required
• 2+ Years of Experience
• Strong Knowledge of Federal and State Tax Compliance
• Strong Knowledge of Sales and Use Tax, Property Tax, and Franchise Tax Regulations
• Advance Excel Skills including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
