This position is responsible for managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure. Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems application software and system management tools. Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. Maintain security back-up, and redundancy strategies. Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks. Participate in the design of information and operational support systems. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Systems and liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. Understands compliance and risk management requirements for supported system area. May assign tasks and/or project resources; provides work direction and monitors work progress and adherence to technical process controls/standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education
  • 3+ years of operations environment experience
  • 3+ years of information technology experience
  • 3+ years of application production support experience

  • Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; including management
  • Strong team or technical leadership experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to identify risk factors and ensure enactment of appropriate controls
  • Ability to track and monitor project progress, identify project and process gaps, recommend controls and communicate progress to business leaders
  • Ability to effectively partner and influence at the executive level
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
  • Ability to present to senior level executives
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Collaborative, team player who knows how to help coordinate efforts and get things done
  • Experience with formally-tracked issues and corrective actions
  • Understanding of process and technology risks
  • Experience working within large Financial Services Companies and across a variety of platforms/technologies.
  • Experience with Agile Development methodology and adopting DevOps practices.
  • Application Production Support Experience
