Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative
Supply Chain Analyst to manage end-to-end supply chain operations for our high-volume
Walmart and Sam’s Club accounts. In this role, you will act as a critical strategic liaison between internal teams and customer supply chain partners to drive top-tier operational execution, order accuracy, and retail in-stock performance.
The ideal candidate possesses deep retail supply chain fundamentals, a sharp eye for process optimization, and a thorough understanding of
Walmart’s OTIF (On-Time & In-Full) standards to successfully manage customer expectations, minimize compliance penalties, and support overall business growth.
Core Skill Focus
- Business Analysis: Leveraging retail platforms and data to identify trends, build performance dashboards, and optimize key metrics (In-Stock %, Fill Rate, Weeks of Supply).
- Process Improvement: Partnering cross-functionally to identify process gaps, streamline system workflows, and implement corrective action plans.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigating supply constraints, inventory shortages, and OTIF infractions to eliminate operational bottlenecks and mitigate financial risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecasting & Inventory Management
- Validate weekly inventory allocation and commit plans based on RTF (Return to Forecast) and demand signals.
- Develop and maintain CPFR ladder files utilizing Retail Link and GSBN data to support optimal in-stock levels.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, track inventory health trends, and collaborate cross-functionally to mitigate supply shortages.
- Order Management & Execution
- Validate and confirm purchase orders, cross-checking model accuracy, quantities, and Requested Delivery Dates (RDDs).
- Manually author and manage purchase orders in NOVA to secure 100% shipment execution against commitments.
- Manage end-to-end feature execution tracking, from initial order placement through the final delivery trail.
- Partner tightly with SCM, AP2, Logistics, and Sales teams to confirm order release status and troubleshoot delayed NERP iDocs or system workflow bottlenecks.
- Coordinate RDD extension requests directly with retail logistics teams when required.
- Customer Collaboration & Relationship Management
- Lead regular CPFR meetings with Walmart and Sam’s Club replenishment partners for assigned product categories.
- Build and sustain strong, in-person working relationships with customer supply chain teams.
- Proactively communicate supply constraints, risks, and recovery timelines clearly and professionally to both external customers and internal executive leadership.
- Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Take complete ownership of key performance indicators, focusing heavily on In-Stock %, Fill Rate, and Weeks of Supply.
- Conduct extensive data analysis and construct reporting dashboards to improve forecast predictability and operational efficiencies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at inventory optimization, cost mitigation, and enhanced OTIF compliance execution.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Required Background
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a closely related field.
- Experience:5–7+ years of hands-on experience in retail supply chain, customer collaboration, logistics, forecasting, or replenishment.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, nested formulas, and large-scale data manipulation).
- Skills: Excellent communication, direct customer-facing experience, and a proven ability to manage complex, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Attributes (Highly Desirable)
- Direct experience managing supply chain workflows specifically for Walmart and/or Sam’s Club accounts.
- Hands-on proficiency with retail systems and ERPs: Retail Link, NOVA, Scintilla, Madrid, GSBN, SAP, and NERP.
- Prior background working within consumer electronics, big-box retail, or high-volume consumer goods (CPG) supply chains.
- Experience utilizing data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
