JOB SUMMARY
Support the success, engagement, and retention of TRIO students by maintaining regular contact with an assigned caseload, promoting program services, and connecting students to academic and campus resources.
Assist with outreach efforts, events, and workshops while helping plan and implement student engagement initiatives. Collaborate with TRIO staff, track student interactions, and represent the program in a professional and welcoming manner.
This is a part-time position of 5-10 hours per week. Schedule will vary according to scheduled events. Preference will be given to students who qualify for Federal Work Study.

· Understanding of TRIO program mission, services, and eligibility requirements
· Basic knowledge of student support services and campus resources
· Understanding of confidentiality requirements (FERPA) and professional boundaries
· Interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with diverse students
· Organizational skills for managing a student caseload and tracking interactions
· Time management skills to balance outreach, events, and student follow-ups
· Problem-solving skills to support student needs and refer appropriately
· Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment in student interactions
· Ability to attend and actively participate in campus events and outreach activities
