Project Coordinator, Engineering Operations


Position Summary

The Project Coordinator, Engineering Operations plays a critical role in supporting the successful execution of engineering and infrastructure projects across a large national asset portfolio. This position serves as the operational backbone of the engineering team, coordinating project activities, managing data and documentation, tracking vendor deliverables, and ensuring the timely completion of structural analysis, maintenance, and modification initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage operational workflows supporting engineering, maintenance, and infrastructure projects

• Create and process purchase orders, purchase order requests, and payment requests for engineering-related activities

• Maintain and update project tracking systems to monitor structural analyses, engineering studies, modifications, inspections, and maintenance programs

• Review, organize, and upload engineering reports, site documentation, vendor deliverables, and project records while ensuring data accuracy and completeness

• Perform data analysis, reporting, and database management activities utilizing advanced Excel functions, formulas, and pivot tables

• Coordinate tower mapping, foundation mapping, geotechnical reporting, maintenance projects, and repair initiatives

• Track, review, reconcile, and report on project-related invoices and expenditures

• Support the onboarding, integration, and ongoing maintenance of newly acquired infrastructure assets

• Assist in maintaining operational procedures, documentation standards, and internal process manuals

• Coordinate additional engineering requirements requested by municipalities, regulatory agencies, vendors, and project stakeholders

• Communicate project status updates and timelines to internal and external stakeholders

• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to engineering teams to ensure projects remain on schedule

• Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned


Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years of project coordination, project management support, operations, or administrative experience

• Experience supporting engineering, telecommunications, infrastructure, construction, utilities, or related industries is highly preferred

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, data comparison, and pivot tables

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment


Work Environment

This role is primarily office-based with limited travel requirements. The position offers significant exposure to engineering operations, project management, infrastructure development, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic and growing organization.
