Position Objective

Under the Store Manager's leadership and guidance, the Stock Supervisor oversees all back-of-house operations. This role leads and develops the stock team while ensuring the seamless execution of inventory control, shipment processing, stock organization, and operational excellence. The Stock Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting sales performance.

This position is based in our elysewalker Newport Beach store location.


Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Supervise and support two team members, ensuring daily operational excellence, accountability, and team development.
  • Oversee all inbound and outbound shipment processes, including transfers, RTVs, consignments, and internal store movements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain exceptional inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reporting analysis, negative-on-hand research, and operational audits.
  • Leverage company systems and reporting tools to monitor inventory performance, identify discrepancies, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Partner closely with Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to support business goals and operational priorities.
  • Lead all stockroom operations, ensuring organization, cleanliness, efficiency, and luxury presentation standards are maintained at all times.
  • Execute and supervise quality control processes for all incoming and outgoing merchandise.
  • Anticipate inventory flow and business needs through proactive planning and strong operational foresight.
  • Support consignment business processes, supply management, and operational compliance procedures.
  • Train, coach, and develop stock team members on company policies, inventory procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Lead and support physical inventory preparation and execution in partnership with Store Management.
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping, receiving, safety, and loss prevention protocols and procedures.
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to support an exceptional client experience.
  • Maintain flexibility to support sales floor operations and deliver the highest level of customer service when needed.
  • Act as a role model and team player, contributing to a positive and solution-oriented store culture.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in stock, inventory control, or retail operations, preferably within luxury retail or high-volume environments.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience managing operational teams preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems, reporting tools, and shipping platforms.
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple deadlines, and execute with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative leadership approach.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle merchandise as needed in a retail stockroom environment.
