JOB SUMMARY:

The Mail Order Pharmacist is responsible for final verification of prescription medications prior to dispensing or shipment. The role ensures accuracy, safety, and full compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations in a high-volume mail order pharmacy environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform final verification of prescription medications prior to shipment or dispensing
• Verify correct drug, strength, dosage form, quantity, labeling, packaging, and patient details
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Review patient profiles for allergies, drug interactions, and duplicate therapy
• Resolve prescription verification discrepancies
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards within required turnaround times
• Report medication errors, near misses, and operational issues
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and operations teams

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active MA Registered Pharmacist (RPh) License (Mandatory)
• Basic pharmacist knowledge (Recent graduates eligible)
