Staff Pharmacist
We are seeking full-time and part-time Staff Pharmacists to deliver accurate medication distribution services, administer immunizations (including COVID vaccines), and provide comprehensive patient counseling. This role is ideal for a clinically driven pharmacist—particularly one with experience in BMT/Oncology or hospital-based care—who thrives working collaboratively with physicians and advanced practice providers to optimize patient outcomes.
The Pharmacist will utilize available clinical data to track and analyze each patient’s medication history, make evidence-based recommendations to providers, and ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and efficiently. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Administer immunizations, including COVID-19 vaccines
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and adherence
- Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to manage patient care, particularly in BMT/Oncology settings
- Review patient medication histories and make clinical recommendations as appropriate
- Ensure all prescriptions are processed in a timely manner and meet patient-specific health requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all pharmacy regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, PharmD, or equivalent (FPGEC accepted)
- Active Indiana Pharmacist License (Required)
- Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program
- Minimum 1 year of hospital experience preferred
- Experience in clinical pharmacy, ideally within BMT/Oncology or acute care settings
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work within interdisciplinary care teams

- Experience managing complex patient populations in oncology or transplant units
- Strong clinical decision-making and patient care management skills
