Staff Accountant

About the Role: As an FTEP Staff Accountant, you'll work as a full-time salaried employee of Robert Half and be deployed on a variety of challenging client engagements. This unique program offers you the stability of full-time employment while allowing you to gain broad experience and develop your skills across different business environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Generate financial statements and assist with reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Perform variance analysis and assist in budget preparation
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant laws/regulations
• Participate in process improvements and special projects as assigned
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1+ years relevant accounting experience (internships or staff roles)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and exposure to ERP/accounting systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication abilities and a professional approach
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in dynamic environments
