Social Media Coordinator

Duration: 3–6 month, contract-to-hire

We are seeking a highly organized, trend-savvy Social Media Coordinator who lives and breathes social media. This person will support multiple eCommerce and consumer-focused brands by managing social channels, sourcing influencers, creating lightweight content, maintaining posting calendars, and driving audience engagement across platforms.

The ideal candidate understands Instagram and TikTok trends instinctively, can move quickly with minimal direction, and thrives in a fast-paced eCommerce marketing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day social media activity across multiple brand accounts
  • Maintain content calendars and posting schedules
  • Source, research, and engage influencers
  • Support follower growth and audience engagement initiatives
  • Create and edit lightweight social content and graphics using Canva
  • Write captions and assist with social copywriting
  • Monitor trends, reels, platform updates, and best practices
  • Support quick-turn content requests and reactive social opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with internal marketing and creative teams via Slack
  • Assist with onsite content capture including photo/video support as needed
  • Keep projects organized using Wrike and scheduling platforms

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of:
  • Instagram
  • TikTok
  • Influencer culture
  • Social media formatting/spec requirements
  • Trends, reels, and platform algorithms
  • Proficiency in Canva
  • Strong written communication and caption-writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable generating ideas with minimal direction
  • Portfolio showcasing social posts, graphics, captions, or engagement-driven content

MUST HAVE

Candidates must have hands-on social media experience supporting product-based/eCommerce/consumer brands.

  • Experience with Loomly
  • Experience with Sprout Social
  • Exposure to paid social advertising
  • Influencer outreach or management experience
  • Basic image editing and content manipulation skills
  • Experience working with lifestyle, consumer product, or eCommerce brands
