We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team and support our corporate client work. This junior-level position at NP Strategy is designed to introduce individuals to a diverse range of client and team services while fostering the growth and expansion of their skill sets.


Client Support:

  • Work closely with NP Strategy client service teams to assist in providing services such as social media, message development, strategic communications, public affairs, media relations, and event planning.
  • Work closely with NP Strategy project leads to serve clients by:
  • Managing and creating content for clients’ and NP Strategy social media channels
  • Managing and creating content for clients’ newsletters, media materials, fact sheets, etc.
  • Creating graphic design content for client and NP Strategy materials
  • Overseeing the updating of website content, newsletters, brochures, and other external communication pieces for both clients and NP Strategy
  • Maintain a teachable spirit and watch for opportunities to learn and advance your career at NP Strategy
  • Meet annual billable and collections goals

 

Team Support:

  • Actively participate in NP Strategy team meetings and activities
  • Be flexible and willing to work after hours if needed for a client or team project goal

 

Professional and Business Development:

  • Use your professional development budget to invest in yourself and grow your professional skills
  • Support NP Strategy business development efforts through proposal development, networking, and research

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, political science, or a related field
  • Internship or work experience in communications, social media, PR or related fields
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in creating visual content for social media and other marketing materials
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva preferred
  • Social media video editing experience is preferred but not required
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated interest in current events, policy, or media landscapes
