About The Role We are looking for a Social Media & Community Manager to join our team. This person will own Filterbaby's social presence end-to-end, setting the strategy, executing the content, and building the community that turns followers into advocates. They'll evolve and scale our social media, engagement, and brand affinity across Instagram and TikTok through scroll-stopping content, creator partnerships, and authentic community building. The ideal candidate is a creative executor who thinks strategically, moves fast, and is genuinely passionate about wellness and clean living.
This is a full-time, LA-based role.
What you'll do
Social strategy & execution
- Own Filterbaby's social presence across Instagram and TikTok strategy, content planning, content execution (whether it’s filming the content yourself, or working with creators), posting, and engagement
- Drive measurable follower and engagement growth, you're not just maintaining the account, you're building an audience
- Develop a content strategy that balances brand storytelling, education, and entertainment
- Develop and execute continuous series
- Execute the video with our video editors -you know how to make something feel authentic and scroll-stopping
- Manage the content calendar and keep everything moving on time
- Stay on top of trends and platform changes, and know when to act on them
- Track performance and use data to inform what to do more of
Creator & influencer partnerships
- Manage creator gifting and seeding programs with our Creator & Influencer coordinator
- Own briefing and relationship management with our creator roster
- Track deliverables, performance, and maintain an organized partnership pipeline
- Identify new creator and brand partnership opportunities that align with Filterbaby's aesthetic and values
Community
- Engage authentically with our audience, comments, DMs, and brand mentions across platforms
- Build and nurture relationships with our most loyal customers and advocates
- Support IRL community events and activations as they come up
Who you are
- 2–5 years of experience in social media, influencer, or community — in-house at a consumer brand preferred
- Deep knowledge of Instagram and TikTok on what performs, what's trending, what feels stale
- Comfortable shooting and being on camera when needed
- Comfortable managing and giving direction to other content creators and influencers
- Experience managing creator relationships and gifting programs
- Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and execute
- Highly organized, you manage multiple workstreams without things slipping
- Genuinely passionate about wellness, skincare, or clean living
- LA-based
Remote-first with in-person availability required for shoots and events in LA. As we build out our hub in LA, this role will transition to hybrid. LA-based candidates only.
Salary $90K to $110K DOE
