Pink Lily is a fast-growing women’s fashion brand that delivers trend-driven styles to our customers through our e-commerce platform.
About the Role:
This role goes beyond traditional merchandising — it blends conversion strategy, storytelling, product launches, and customer journey optimization to drive revenue and create a seamless, inspiring shopping experience.
You will be responsible for how our customer discovers, shops, and falls in love with Pink Lily online.
What You’ll Own:
1. Site Experience & Conversion Optimization
- Own the end-to-end Shopify storefront experience
- Continuously optimize conversion rate, AOV, and revenue per session
- Identify friction points in the funnel and implement improvements (PDP, cart, navigation, etc.)
- Partner with marketing + creative to ensure site reflects campaigns, drops, and storytelling
2. Merchandising Strategy (Product-Led, Not Clearance-Led)
- Build and execute collection strategies aligned with buying + brand priority/aesthetic
- Lead product launches and site drops (timing, placement, storytelling)
- Merchandise for newness, best sellers and high-margin / high-inventory opportunities
- Move away from “discount-first” merchandising to product-first excitement
3. Homepage, Landing Pages & Campaign Execution
- Own homepage strategy weekly
- Build and update campaign landing pages and drop pages (collections, capsules, events)
- Align site with: Email + SMS, Paid ads and Social content
4. Shopify Product & Launch Operations
- Oversee product setup + launch workflow
- Ensure: Accurate product data, SEO-optimized titles/descriptions, Correct tagging + categorization
- Manage go-live readiness for all launches
5. Site Search, Navigation & Discovery
- Optimize: Search results (synonyms, redirects, zero-result fixes) and Navigation structure (collections, categories)
- Improve product discoverability + customer journey flow
6. Data, Testing & Performance
- Track and report on: Conversion rate, Bounce rate, AOV Revenue by collection/page
- Run A/B tests (homepage layouts, PDPs, collection sorting, etc.)
- Use insights to continuously improve site performance
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Merchandising team (product priorities)
- Marketing (campaigns + promotions)
- Creative/content (visual storytelling)
- Ensure alignment across all customer touchpoints
8. Tools & Platform Ownership
- Deep ownership of Shopify ecosystem
- Manage and optimize tools such as:
- Search & merchandising apps
- Personalization tools
- Review platforms
- Upsell/cross-sell tools (ex: Stylitics or similar)
Who You Are:
- 3–5+ years in eCommerce, Shopify, or site merchandising role
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, eCommerce, or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of conversion optimization + customer behavior
- Experience in fashion or retail preferred
- Analytical + creative thinker
- Highly organized and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Passionate about customer experience and performance
Bonus If You Have:
- Experience scaling a high-volume Shopify store
- Familiarity with:
- Heat mapping tools (Hotjar, etc.)
- A/B testing platforms
- SEO for eCommerce
- Strong understanding of mobile-first shopping behavior
Compensation:
This position offers a base salary range of $75,000–$85,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
