Role Summary:

The Ecommerce Manager, Site Performance & Merchandising will own and optimize onsite performance across our DTC business. This role is responsible for how effectively we convert traffic into revenue across product categories through strong merchandising, testing, and customer-informed decision making. You will work closely with the Director of Ecommerce & Digital Marketing and leadership team to translate high-level strategy into execution, insights, and continuous optimization.

You will combine performance data (revenue, CVR, AOV, contribution margin), customer insight (behavior, feedback, friction), and hands-on execution (merchandising, CRO, testing) to improve category performance and overall site conversion.


Key Responsibilities:

Onsite Performance & Optimization

  • Own performance across product categories (CVR, AOV, sell-through)
  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion and revenue
  • Translate performance data into actionable site improvements

Merchandising & Category Management

  • Own homepage, collections, and product sorting
  • Align product visibility with demand, inventory, and marketing activity
  • Continuously refine category structure and navigation
  • Collaborate with Product Development to understand new trends within markets and how to translate onsite

CRO & Testing

  • Own and execute CRO roadmap across PDP, cart, and key site flows
  • Run A/B tests
  • Identify and remove friction in the customer journey

Customer & Consumer Insights

  • Regularly analyze customer feedback and behavior
  • Identify key drivers of conversion and drop-off
  • Translate insights into improvements across PDPs, merchandising, and messaging
  • Share insights with product and marketing teams to inform decisions

Product + Marketing Launch Execution

  • Lead onsite execution for product launches
  • Ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and onsite experience
  • Launch sales and promotions and seasonal product transitions
  • Ensure all website content is updated and accurate (assets, product descriptions, etc.)
  • Support product lifecycle optimization (launch → scale → exit)

Analytics & Reporting

  • Own reporting across product and category performance
  • Provide clear visibility into what is working, what is not, and why
  • Bring insights and recommendations to leadership

Site Optimization & Roadmap

  • Identify and prioritize site improvements based on impact
  • Partner with design and development on UX/UI enhancements
  • Execute quickly on high-impact changes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with paid media (Acquisition), Email + SMS (Retention), DTC Marketing, Product Design and Development, and DTC Inventory Demand Planning
  • Align onsite experience with traffic sources and customer messaging


Qualifications:

  • 4–7+ years in DTC ecommerce (Shopify preferred)
  • Experience working on or influencing $15M+ DTC revenue
  • Strong experience in merchandising and onsite optimization
  • CRO and A/B testing
  • Product/category performance analysis
  • Proven ability to use data and customer insights together to drive decisions
  • Strong execution skills with a test-and-learn mindset


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Apparel, performance, or multi-category DTC brands
  • Experience working closely with paid media teams
  • Familiarity with MER and contribution margin frameworks
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior team members

Company Paid holidays and PTO:

  • Feetures offers 20 PTO days which are available to you on day one of employment and are available to all employees, no matter your role. After working at Feetures for 5 years, your PTO days will increase to 25 days. These days can be used for vacations, appointments and sick days.
