Shipping Associate

Tamarac, FL | Day Shift | Manufacturing/Warehouse

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Associate to support our warehouse operations by ensuring finished products are packaged and shipped accurately and on time. This role also supports trade show preparations and works closely with internal teams to meet shipping deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Package finished goods to meet quality and sales order requirements
• Prepare shipments to minimize damage using proper packing materials and crates
• Schedule courier pickups for small packages, LTL, and private trucks
• Complete and close sales orders on the same day materials ship
• Build shipping crates and package signage using hand and power tools
• Assist with shipping and coordination across departments

Requirements:

• 1+ year of shipping experience in a warehouse environment
• Material handling and shipping/receiving experience
• Basic math and reading skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred (Not Required):

• Stockroom, picking, or packing experience
• Crate building or woodworking experience
• Forklift experience
• Loading/unloading truck experience

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Non-air-conditioned warehouse in Tamarac, FL
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs and carry up to 50 lbs
• Steel-toe boots and required safety PPE

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tamarac, FL.

The pay range for this position is $19.76 - $19.76/hr.
