Job Description

The Warehouse Administrator supports day-to-day warehouse operations by managing inbound deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating closely with operations and inventory control teams. This role focuses on data entry, purchase order research, and replenishment creation within a warehouse management system, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. The position is currently labeled as a warehouse associate and involves working directly on the warehouse floor in a large, fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process inbound deliveries accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Research open purchase orders to identify and resolve discrepancies or delays.
  • Help close out shipments when production runs are completed, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Update spreadsheets and internal records as needed to reflect current inventory and order status.
  • Coordinate daily activities with operations support and inventory control to maintain smooth warehouse workflows.
  • Create replenishments as needed to fulfill customer orders and maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Perform bin checks regularly to verify inventory accuracy and correct any variances.
  • Use the warehouse management system (WMS) in SAP to record, track, and manage inventory and order information.
  • Provide basic customer service support related to shipping, receiving, and inventory inquiries.
  • Collaborate with team members on the warehouse floor and in the office to support overall operational efficiency.

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience working with SAP or similar warehouse management systems, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Advanced knowledge and application of Microsoft Office Suite, including strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with shipping and receiving processes in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Proven data entry skills with a focus on speed and accuracy.
  • Hands-on experience with inventory processes, including bin checks and replenishment.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with operations support and inventory control teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing purchase orders and shipment closeouts.
  • Customer service skills to handle inquiries related to inventory, shipping, and receiving.
  • Basic understanding of purchase ordering processes..

Shift:

M-F 7 am-3:30pm Once fully trained, your schedule may shift slightly to approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
