Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Process Monitoring & Evaluation
    • Monitor, assess, and ensure adherence to operational standards, identifying and documenting deviations.
    • Continuously assess ongoing processes, identifying deviations and opportunities for improvement.
    • Perform electronic Lean Process Control (eLPC) assessments, documenting any deviations from expected performance.
  • Team Leadership 
    • Guide and train operators on safety, quality, and productivity, fostering a high-performance environment.
  • Performance Evaluation 
    • Analyze productivity sheets to identify disruptions affecting goal achievement and develop action plans to address them.
    • Implement first-level escalation procedures based on defined reaction points when issues arise.
  • Continuous Improvement 
    • Collaborate on and implement process improvements and test suggested changes to standard operating procedures, ensuring they align with best practices.
    • Lead daily improvement tasks aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Documentation & Compliance 
    • Maintain and update the training matrix to reflect the training status of all team members.
    • Track and report on stability measures, ensuring processes are consistently meeting performance metrics.
  • Problem Resolution 
    • Address ad-hoc operational challenges and fulfill management requests.
    • Monitors aisle audits, cleaning standards, and aisle location clean ups through 6s responsibility sheets. Perform periodic checks on the floor on an ongoing basis to identify deficiencies for quick resolution. 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Bosch Production System (BPS) or similar lean manufacturing principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, email applications, productivity tracking tools is required. The role demands strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop others. Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations is essential, with previous leadership or team lead experience strongly preferred.

Key Competencies

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment; prior experience in a leadership role preferred.
  • BPS (Bosch Production System) knowledge and experience, preferred
  • Excel, Word, and Outlook familiarity
  • Knowledgeable of order flow processes, as well as customer requirements, computers and powered equipment is needed
  • Active problem solver for both, systems and process, related issues
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all audiences; behave in a manner that supports organization’s ethics and business values
  • Team player as well as being self-motivated
  • Must be willing to work overtime when required

Working Conditions

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • May require standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is hourly $22.78 - $27.12. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
