The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all tax related decisions and activities in the organization. You will help us stay tax-compliant and up-to-date on new tax laws.
Responsibilities
Provide high quality individual, trust, estate, gift, foundation, and business tax compliance services as well as estate planning advisory services
Develop and implement tax planning strategies in alignment with client goals and objectives, including coordinating with advisors to integrate tax considerations into financial plans and investment strategies
Review individual, trust, estate, gift, business entity, and foundation returns
Handle Federal and State tax notices and audits
Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university, JD, or MS in Tax required
Active CPA, EA or state bar license required (eligible to be listed on POAs is required)
6+ year’s progressive experience in public accounting required
Extensive experience in Tax Advisory and Gift/Estate/Trust planning and compliance for sophisticated high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families
Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships
