Senior Tax Manager

North Dallas, TX

$160,000 to $200,000

If you are ready for a bigger seat at the table, this is the kind of move that can make sense

Most strong Senior Tax Managers are not just thinking about the work in front of them.

They are thinking about what the next few years actually look like. Whether they are moving toward more influence, better clients, and a more meaningful role in the firm, or just taking on more responsibility without much really changing around it.

This opportunity is with an established Texas CPA firm in North Dallas that has built the kind of platform a lot of experienced tax professionals look for. The client base is strong. The work is broad. And the role itself carries real visibility.

You would be working with high net worth individuals alongside established businesses across a range of sectors, which keeps the work interesting and gives the role more depth than a narrow compliance heavy seat.

What makes this one stand out is the level of influence attached to it.

This is not about sitting in the background keeping work moving. It is about being a senior voice in the room, leading clients well, supporting the team beneath you, and playing a bigger role in where the firm goes next.

For the right person, that is where the appeal sits.

You get the quality of client base, the breadth of work, and the chance to step into a role that feels like more than just another title change. And if you are considering a move, joining a new firm over the summer can be a smart way to do it. You get time to settle in properly, build relationships, and head into the fall deadlines from a much stronger position.

How to apply (without the fuss)

Most people overthink job ads. You don’t need 100% of the bullets to start a conversation.

If this sounds right, apply. The button isn’t a marriage proposal, it’s a conversation starter.

If Linked In hides it, I’m Alex Alcock (Distinct). I’m around from 6am CST and after 5pm CST.

Sitting at ~87% of the spec? Perfect. Apply anyway. The CPA firms I partner with want interesting people, not corporate clones.

Don’t overthink it. Worst case, we have a useful chat about your next step.

Best case? You’ve just found the last firm you’ll need for a long time.
