As a growing boutique firm, you’ll be joining a company where the owner has an excellent reputation locally. As Managing Partner, they are hands-on in the best ways. You’ll get direct mentorship and support with your CPA or CFP studies, and you’ll be pushed to learn as much as you can.
Although the firm is small, you won’t be stuck in one area. You’ll primarily work with HNW individuals and their associated businesses, but there’s also the chance to take on work in litigation and financial planning.
In this role, you’ll start with complex preparation and review, with opportunities to mentor others while studying for your CPA. From there, you can progress to Manager.
The firm also does flexibility right. You can work from home on Mondays and Fridays, with the rest of the week in the office. Busy season is typically 55 hours, with 2 to 3 weeks hitting 60 hours. Outside of that, there’s a unique core hours schedule from 9 to 3, so if you want to beat the traffic, you can come in early and leave mid-afternoon.
