About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Structural Project Engineer to lead structural engineering efforts for large-scale industrial and warehouse facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-profile projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary architecture and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, project leadership experience, and a passion for mentoring junior engineers.
What You'll Do
- Lead structural engineering design and project execution for major industrial, commercial, science & technology, and workplace projects.
- Design structural systems for large industrial and warehouse facilities.
- Develop structural construction documents using Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM, and Revit.
- Manage project deliverables including design calculations, specifications, contract documents, shop drawing reviews, and construction coordination.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to deliver innovative and practical solutions.
- Design and analyze structural steel, concrete, masonry, cold-formed metal framing, wood framing, and foundation systems.
- Support projects involving precast and tilt-up concrete construction.
- Utilize structural analysis and design software to ensure accurate and efficient engineering solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis.
- Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Structural Engineer (SE) license in at least one U.S. state.
- 10+ years of structural engineering and project leadership experience.
- Experience designing structural systems for large industrial and warehouse facilities.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Building Codes and industry reference standards.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM, and Revit.
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as:
- RAM Structural System
- RAM Elements
- Tekla TEDDS
- Tekla Structural Designer
- RISA
- CFS
- Anchor Designer (Simpson Strong-Tie)
- Hilti PROFIS
- IDEA StatiCa
- Excel/VBA
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience supporting projects valued up to $500M.
- Food and beverage industry project experience.
- Experience across industrial, commercial, science & technology, and workplace sectors.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary architecture and engineering teams.
