Senior Account Manager – HVAC Services (Union City | North Bay Focus)


A long-established, design-build mechanical contractor based in Union City is seeking a senior, commercially minded and technically strong Account Manager to take ownership of key service relationships across San Francisco and expand growth across the North Bay.


This is not a pure sales role. It requires someone who can credibly engage on HVAC systems, scope work, and support technical delivery, while also identifying and converting new business opportunities.

You will inherit an existing portfolio of high-value clients and be trusted to deepen those relationships while actively driving new service revenue. The role sits at the intersection of account leadership, technical expertise, and business development.


What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Owning and growing key client relationships across service, repairs, and projects
  • Identifying and converting new service opportunities within existing and new accounts
  • Leading estimates for repairs, service agreements, and project work
  • Acting as both the commercial lead and technical advisor for clients
  • Coordinating with field teams, dispatch, and project stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Providing hands-on technical and estimating support to internal teams and technicians'

What they’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in account management, project management, or service roles within HVAC/mechanical services
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems (controls and plumbing experience a plus)
  • Ability to estimate, scope, and speak confidently on technical solutions, not just sell
  • Commercial instinct with the ability to grow accounts and identify opportunities
  • Someone who can operate credibly with both clients and field teams
