Job Title: Senior Sales Lead – US (AI Pharma SaaS)

Overview
We are partnering with a well-funded, European-based AI pharma startup that is expanding into the U.S. market. Following a successful funding round (~€7M raised late last year) and growing traction across Europe, the business is now looking to hire its first senior commercial leader in the U.S.
This is a high-impact role for an experienced SaaS sales professional with a strong track record in life sciences, who is excited by the opportunity to build and scale a market from an early stage.
The Opportunity
As the first U.S.-focused sales hire, you will take ownership of commercial growth in the region. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy, opening key accounts, and driving revenue across pharma and biotech customers.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution and offers significant influence over the company’s U.S. expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead U.S. commercial expansion and revenue growth
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategy for the U.S. market
- Identify, engage, and close new business across pharma and biotech
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of enterprise opportunities
- Establish and grow key customer relationships
- Work closely with leadership, product, and marketing teams
- Provide market feedback to shape product and positioning
- Play a key role in future team build-out as the business scales
Requirements
- Proven track record of selling SaaS solutions into life sciences (pharma/biotech)
- Experience closing enterprise-level deals and managing complex sales cycles
- Strong understanding of the U.S. pharma/biotech landscape
- Comfortable operating in a startup or scale-up environment
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
