Senior Project Manager - Banking

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and drive strategic programs across Finance, Technology, and key business stakeholder groups. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing complex initiatives, establishing execution plans, managing dependencies, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful delivery of critical business and technology outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Finance, Technology Development teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to manage and deliver strategic programs and projects.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and execution roadmaps.
• Drive program governance, status reporting, and executive-level communications to ensure alignment across stakeholders.
• Coordinate project activities across multiple teams, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and adherence to project objectives.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and proactively address obstacles impacting delivery.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, decision-making forums, and program reviews to maintain momentum and alignment.
• Ensure project scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to define priorities, resource requirements, and implementation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management practices, governance processes, and execution methodologies.
• Prepare and present program updates, performance metrics, and status reports to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of project and/or program management experience leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven experience partnering with Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and delivery best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Experience managing project risks, budgets, timelines, and resource planning.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certification.
• Experience delivering enterprise-wide business transformation or technology initiatives.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
