Job Title: Senior Treasury Manager
Location: Herndon, Virginia
Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 (depending on qualifications)
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive treasury, corporate finance, or cash management experience.
- Required experience within the government contracting (GovCon) industry.
- Strong understanding of treasury operations, working capital management, debt instruments, and banking products.
- Knowledge of government contracting environments, including contract billing cycles, indirect rate structures, and federal contractor financial operations.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and treasury management platforms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to partner effectively across finance and operational teams.
Job Description:
- Lead daily treasury operations, including cash positioning, liquidity management, and banking activities across multiple accounts and entities.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze short- and long-term cash flow forecasts, including detailed 13-week cash flow models to support liquidity planning and executive decision-making.
- Monitor cash balances and funding requirements, recommending strategies to optimize working capital and maximize liquidity.
- Manage banking relationships, including treasury services, credit facilities, letters of credit, and corporate banking agreements.
- Oversee debt management activities, including covenant compliance, debt reporting, lender communications, and financing transactions.
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Contracts, and Operations teams to align cash forecasting with project performance, billing cycles, and business objectives.
- Analyze operating cash flows, indirect rates, contract funding, and customer payment trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, financing transactions, and strategic initiatives through treasury analysis and due diligence.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements related to treasury operations.
- Prepare treasury reporting packages, liquidity analyses, and executive presentations for senior leadership.
