Position Summary:
We are seeking a Paralegal who will provide hands-on legal support across various areas including corporate governance, real estate, investments and estate and trust management. The ideal candidate will bring strong fundamental paralegal corporate experience, including time in both a law firm and an in-house corporate environment.
This role requires a highly ethical, service driven, detail-oriented individual with exceptional integrity. This is a perfect opportunity for a motivated and passionate paralegal to work with a collaborative team to support our operating company and our family office services initiatives during a time of growth and transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Governance Support: Draft and maintain meeting minutes and supporting documentation, prepare and manage board and trustee consents, coordinate approvals and resolutions.
- Drive Operations and Project Management: Maintain reliable systems for tracking entities, approvals, and obligations, while establishing and implementing efficient workflow coordination.
- Support Transactions and Strategic Projects; including diligence coordination, document management and execution support.
- Support internal teams (real estate, accounting/finance, human resources, and family office services) and external parties with requests and ensure efficient workflow
- Assist the real estate team and work with outside counsel, as appropriate, drafting contracts, leases and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
- Draft, review and negotiate various corporate contracts, and agreements as requested.
- Assist with monitoring legal budget and expenditures.
- General legal operations support and other projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 10+ years of experience with a blend of law firm and in-house experience highly desired.
- Paralegal certificate.
- Proven experience in document management, workflow coordination, corporate governance and project management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communicator, able to present complex legal issues clearly and concisely across various platforms, including emails, memoranda, and formal legal documents.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with a track record of improving and streamlining processes.
- Multitasking and Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to multitask, problem-solve, and complete complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Adaptability: Positive and collaborative attitude, comfortable with change and a fast-paced environment, and exhibits an insatiable intellectual curiosity.
- Professionalism and Integrity: Demonstrates strong judgment, high levels of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in all interactions.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, DocuSign, and AI tools
- Understanding of estate and trust law and regulations is a plus but not required
- Prior experience working in a family office is a plus but not required.
Compensation and Benefits:
- In addition to base salary there is a performance-based bonus structure.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $180,000. The actual base salary offered will be dependent upon the applicant’s experience and qualifications, as well as other job-related factors, including but not limited to, relevant skills, education, certifications or other professional licenses held. The upper range is reserved for candidates with extraordinary experience and or skill sets.
