Senior Manufacturing Automation Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Automation Engineer to support and optimize manufacturing processes within a regulated environment. This role focuses on automation, continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with quality standards such as FDA, ISO, and cGMP.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead automation equipment selection, implementation, and upgrades
• Troubleshoot machine controls, PLCs, and electromechanical systems
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC)
• Perform root cause analysis, FMEA, and support CAPA activities
• Design and execute validation and process improvement initiatives
• Develop and maintain SOPs and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and cGMP standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 7+ years in manufacturing/automation engineering
• Experience with PLCs, process controls, and automation systems
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and structured problem-solving
• Experience in regulated environments (FDA, GMP, ISO preferred)
