Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to support ongoing logistics and operations analytics initiatives. This role will partner closely with supply chain, operations, and finance teams to enhance cost visibility, improve reporting, and drive more informed decision-making across the network.
This is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, digging into complex datasets, and contributing to the optimization of a large-scale distribution environment.
Senior Logistics Analyst Key Responsibilities:
- Support logistics cost analysis across transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment operations
- Enhance and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to provide visibility into key cost drivers and performance metrics
- Analyze carrier performance, routing efficiency, and service levels across inbound and outbound transportation
- Partner with finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis related to logistics spend
- Evaluate distribution network performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce cost
- Assist in developing and refining cost models to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Maintain accuracy and consistency of logistics cost data across internal systems and reporting tools
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, and third-party partners to improve data quality and reporting processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain operations, including transportation and fulfillment
- Contribute to ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling as the business continues to scale
Senior Logistics Analyst Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- 3–6+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, logistics, transportation analysis, or supply chain finance
- Strong understanding of transportation and distribution cost drivers across a complex network
- Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and/or transportation management systems is a plus
- Ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable insights
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
