Senior Litigation Attorney (Insurance Defense)
A growing, full-service defense litigation firm in Fort Lauderdale is looking to add an experienced Litigation Attorney to its team.
This is an opportunity for someone who is confident handling their own caseload, has a strong foundation in insurance defense, and is looking to be part of a collaborative, trial-focused environment.
What they’re looking for:
- 5+ years of civil litigation experience with a focus on insurance defense
- Experience handling bodily injury, premises liability, and/or catastrophic loss cases
- Strong experience managing cases from inception through resolution
- Deposition, motion practice, and hearing experience
- Trial experience strongly preferred (first or second chair)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
The role:
- Manage a caseload of defense litigation matters
- Handle depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
- Work closely with a supportive team of attorneys and staff
- Exposure to complex, high-exposure litigation matters
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary in the range of $150,000 – $200,000, depending on experience
