Senior Fund Accountant

We are conducting a search for a Senior Fund Accountant to join a well-established alternatives platform with a focus on private infrastructure and drawdown / closed-end fund structures. This is a high-ownership role with strong exposure to fund operations, reporting, and cross-functional partners.


Responsibilities

  • Review monthly closes prepared by the fund administrator and own key tie-outs and reconciliations
  • Support quarterly and annual financial reporting processes, including trial balance, cash flow support, and footnote tie-outs
  • Manage core fund accounting deliverables for closed-end / drawdown vehicles, including investor allocations and capital activity support
  • Coordinate deliverables with fund admin, auditors, and tax providers to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Support new product / vehicle launches from an accounting and reporting perspective
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, controls, and operating procedures

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in fund accounting within alternatives (private equity, private credit, real assets, infrastructure, hedge fund, or fund admin)
  • Strong understanding of closed-end or drawdown fund structures preferred
  • Advanced Excel required (macros a plus)
  • CPA preferred (not required)
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with deadlines and multiple stakeholders
