Senior Fund Accountant @ $50BN Fund

Coda Search is partnering with a $50BN+ asset management firm headquartered in NYC that has experienced significant growth over the past several years. The firm is seeking to add a Senior Fund Accountant to its expanding finance team. In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of funds while working closely with an outsourced fund administrator to ensure accurate reporting and fund operations.

The position will involve preparing valuation reports, analyzing fund activity, and supporting key processes such as capital calls, distributions, and the annual audit. Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and reporting for a portfolio of investment funds.
• Review and oversee work prepared by third-party fund administrators to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review fund valuation reports and analyze underlying fund activity.
• Support capital call and distribution processes for investors.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and support the annual audit process.
• Monitor fund activity and performance while ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external service providers to maintain accurate fund operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of fund accounting experience.
• Prior experience within financial services, asset management, or private equity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
