About The Role
Costaras Law is hiring a skilled, detail-oriented paralegal who can take ownership of back-end legal work across estate planning and business matters with minimal oversight.
This role is ideal for someone who can keep files moving, manage documents accurately, and work well with attorneys, clients, CPAs, financial advisors, and other professionals.
What You’ll Do
- Draft and review estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
- Assist with business law matters, including entity formation, corporate maintenance, filings, and internal recordkeeping
- Prepare and revise operating agreements, purchase agreements, stock transfer documents, board resolutions, consent actions, and related corporate documents
- Manage trust funding, corporate checklists, digital records, and matter status across multiple files
- Coordinate with clients and professional advisors to collect information and follow up on open items
- Maintain organized files and help move matters from intake through signing and completion
Qualifications
- 5+ years of paralegal experience in estate planning and/or business law
- Strong hands-on experience drafting and reviewing legal documents
- Familiarity with estate planning workflows and common business documents
- Ability to manage multiple active matters without letting details slip
- Comfortable using Zoom, DocuSign, CRMs, shared drives, and AI-assisted systems
- Strong communication skills and a high-accountability approach to teamwork
Compensation & Schedule
- $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience
- 20-25 hours per week
- Hybrid remote in Independence, Ohio
