What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and development of building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and related systems
- Perform system design calculations and coordinate electrical designs with architectural and engineering disciplines (internal and external)
- Prepare construction documents and drawings that clearly and accurately communicate design intent
- Interface with clients as needed and participate in design coordination meetings
- Support projects through construction administration and field investigations
- Select and specify electrical equipment and fixtures appropriate for each facility
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of experience designing electrical building systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Project management experience and the ability to work across multiple projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards
