Senior Cost Accountant, Manufacturing Accounting

Location: Trinity, NC

Comp: $65K–$95K

We're working with a Fortune 500 industry leader that is adding a Senior Cost Accountant to its finance/accounting team.

This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys manufacturing accounting, inventory, standard costing, product costing, month-end close, and partnering with operations finance.

The company has a strong leadership team, a collaborative culture, and real internal growth opportunities.

What you’ll focus on:

• Monthly and quarterly cost accounting close activities
• Inventory and standard cost analysis
• Product costing and costing requests
• BOM, routing, labor, and overhead analysis
• Account reconciliations and month-end reporting
• Process improvement and business partnership with plant/operations teams

Ideal background:

• 3+ years of accounting or cost accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• CPA or CMA a plus
• ERP experience preferred
• Power BI experience a plus
