A Band 1 Chambers-ranked regional firm in Telecom, Broadcast & Satellite law is seeking a senior corporate attorney to join its growing transactional team. The firm advises clients across the energy, telecommunications, media, and emerging technology sectors and regularly handles sophisticated infrastructure and technology projects, including hyperscale data centers, large-scale development and construction frameworks, joint ventures, and complex transactions involving advanced technologies and energy infrastructure.
This position offers a compelling alternative to BigLaw for attorneys seeking sophisticated deal work with greater flexibility. Billable expectations are approximately 1,300–1,500 hours annually, with compensation in the mid-to-high $200K range. The role focuses on complex corporate transactions, including M&A, venture capital financings, and private equity deals. The firm operates on a hybrid model with collaborative in-office days and flexibility for extended remote work. The culture is collaborative, intellectually rigorous, and notably low-ego.
Ideal candidates will have 7–10+ years of experience in M&A, venture financings, and private equity transactions, along with exposure to the telecommunications or energy sectors. Candidates should come from a top Am Law firm or highly regarded boutique and demonstrate strong judgment, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to independently manage complex transactions.
