Sports Associate Attorney

Mid to Senior Level Sports Associate

Our client is an Am law 100 firm seeking a transactional attorney to join the firm’s nationally ranked Sports Practice Group. The role involves working with a diverse client base including professional sports leagues, teams, venues, operators, sponsors and brands, universities, and media companies. The salary range for this position is between $275 to $305k for mid-level and $320k to $375k for senior level.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of experience in sports-related transactions, including drafting and negotiating the following type of agreements: sponsorship, naming rights, multi-media rights, procurement, pouring rights, franchise acquisition and disposition, jersey patch, merchandising, venue development and operations, advertising or promotional, concessionaire and food and beverage, ticketing, team and venue license, joint venture , and media right agreements, as well as suite, club and premium seating licensing.
• While the position focuses on sports on transactions in sports and entertainment, it may also include adjacent practices such as real estate, IP, and corporate.
• Law firm experience is strongly preferred.
• State bar admission in jurisdiction of practice is required.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
