A premier, Chambers-rated New York law firm known for its dominance in the real estate sector is seeking a seasoned Commercial Litigation Associate. This is a high-impact role within a sophisticated litigation boutique, offering the chance to handle complex, high-stakes disputes for a nationwide blue-chip client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Litigation Tasks: Take primary responsibility for drafting and arguing substantive motions and managing all phases of discovery.
- Courtroom & Depositions: Take and defend depositions and represent clients in evidentiary hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
- Case Strategy: Manage complex document reviews via e-discovery platforms and prepare key witnesses for trial.
- Resolution: Negotiate settlements and provide strategic counsel on client resolutions.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of complex commercial litigation experience. A background in real estate-related litigation or construction law is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Mastery of New York civil procedure and advanced legal research and writing capabilities.
- Execution: Ability to drive multiple high-priority matters forward in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Credentials: Must be admitted to the New York State Bar.
